Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the electrical technician is responsible for the safe and correct execution of the tasks within the preventative maintenance programme that are assigned.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Preforming and recording electrical maintenance activities.
Carrying out all fault and diagnosis of problems affecting plant and systems.
Preforming breakdown repairs where required.
Carry out HV and LV Isolations.
Identify priorities to plan maintenance and shutdown activities.
Preparing and submit spare requirements ensuring appropriate stock is carried at all times.
Operating the installation power generation and distribution systems.
Supervision of contractor labour.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Certified COMPEX
Experience in working in the offshore industry.
Experience of HV/LV certification.
Experience of working within the strict limitations of a permit to work system.
Experience in a similar role, possibly gained from tanker operations or FPSO operations.
Sound knowledge of plant operation, maintenance and computerised maintenance systems.
