Business Development Manager SE Asia Permanent

BOSS Energy has been tasked by a large fabrication organisation to seek a Business Development Manager for their facilities based in Thailand. We are seeking a dynamic, innovate and cultured individual that has the experience managing senior level relationships, realising innovate concept studies in reality enabling the client to bring new energy based projects to the business.


The group has large offices, fabrication yards and a supply chain that extends the globe and the hydrocarbons business delivers world-class solutions for every phase of a potential project. The have global experience in:


  • Modular based and offshore engineering and construction
  • Floating production and storage units
  • Offshore Heavy fabrication (Platforms, Skids, Semi-Sub)



Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and coordinate medium and long term business strategies and plans to secure new/repeat businesses and projects in order to achieve the target order book.
  • Analyze marketing information/date on industry developments/new customers to strengthen Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and business focus as well as forecast / secure new business opportunities.
  • Direct, review and control market intelligence data/information with the objective of facilitating, forecasting and management's decision making in relation to business and operational issues.
  • Expanding business by sourcing new partners/agents and well as maintaining business relationships with existing partners/agents to create new opportunities for growth
  • Develop and maintain customer relationship with new customers with the objective of generating new businesses.
  • Evaluate, analyze and propose to management marketing promotion activities at the regional and international level with the objective of promoting corporate branding/image and securing new customers.
  • Plan yearly marketing visit to clients and execute them to maintain and enhance personal relationship with targeted clients and build up client relationship
  • Visit and participate in conferences/exhibitions to network with clients and industry players.
  • Provide leadership, direction and guidance to motivate and nurture potential qualified leaders in business development for breakthrough performance to take company to greater height.



  • Should be well-known within the Yards and EPC Domain  
  • Excellent network throughout Thailand and other areas of SE Asia.
  • Should be smart and should possess expertise in high level networking with customers and the ability to open doors 
  • Should be able to identify opportunities and convert them into business 
  • Domain expertise of Fabrication Yards and EPC fabrication
