Business Development Manager (Hydrogen)

Business Development Manager (Hydrogen) North Europe Competitive Permanent

Boss Energy are looking for a Business Development Manager for a leading company based in Europe.


  • Total support for the commercialization of the companies business opportunities in Europe and the Middle East
  • Identification, initiation and development of customer projects up to the conclusion of a contract
  • Identification and preparation of public and private (project) financing
  • Continuous observation of the international hydrogen markets and analysis of the implications and opportunities for the company
  • Active support in developing the corporate strategy
  • Initiation and establishment of strategic partnerships in the context of commercialization
  • Intensive communication with public authorities, political bodies and associations
  • Representation of then company at events (e.g. trade fairs and conferences)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in business development / project development for innovative technologies / market development in an international setting with a proven track record

Experience Required

  • Diploma, master’s degree or comparable degree in the field of economics, industrial engineering, natural sciences or a similar course of study
  • Experience in structuring and initiating large-scale industrial cooperation
  • Experience in applying for public funding
  • Confident demeanor and strong communication skills
  • High self-motivation, willingness to perform and an urge to complete the project
  • Quick comprehension, structured thinking, ability to penetrate complex issues quickly
  • High affinity to topics of sustainable mobility, renewable energies and cleantech
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel extensively
